Siegerehrung/Awards

Es ist schön, wieder ganz oben auf dem Podest zu sein! Was man nicht sieht auf den Fotos: Wir hatten den heißesten Tag, etwa 38 Grad und fast 100% Luftfeuchte, also sind wir bei der Siegerehrung fast zerschmolzen...Auf dem Foto links von mir Natalia, rechts Kari. Auf dem Teamfoto links von unserem Team die Russinnen Natalia&Natalia, rechts von uns die Cowgirls aus den Staaten.
Heute ist der Himmel grau, als ob er uns den Aufbruch erleichtern wollte. Es war eine spannende, anstrengende, doch sehr schöne Zeit bei meinen Freunden der Florida Quest-Crew. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an meine Freundin Jamie (auf dem Foto hinter der Flagge) und an meinen Helfer Tim, die mich unermüdlich unterstützt haben!
Jetzt packen wir die Autos und werden mit LTU nach Düsseldorf fliegen in hoffentlich nicht mehr als 8.30hr Flugzeit...

It´s great to be back up on the podium! But what you cant see on the photos: It was the hottest day, 38 degrees and nearly 100% humidity, so we nearly melted away during the award ceremony... to my left its Natalia, to my right Kari. On the team photo the two Natalias are to my left, and the cowgirls from the states to my right.
Today the skies are grey as if to help us make leaving easier. It was an exhausting but great time that I spent with my Florida Quest Crew friends again. Special thanks to Jamie and Tim (behind the flags on the photos) for helping me so much every day of the competition!
Now we are loading the cars to go to Orlando airport and fly with LTU to Düsseldorf, hopefully it wont be more than 8.30hrs flight time...
